Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has issued a hands-off policy on Mario Gotze, amid rumours that Manchester United are mulling a €22.8 million bid for the star playmaker.
Following his match-winning performance for Germany against Brazil last week, the 19-year-old was linked with the Premier League winners. However, Watzke firmly dismissed the possibility of a transfer.

"There may come interest, but we have not the slightest intention to sell Mario Gotze," he toldBild.

Following Paul Scholes' retirement, United have been closely linked with Inter's Wesley Sneijder. However, his heavy wage demands (estimated at around €11m per year) and expensive transfer fee (approximately €40m) caused manager Sir Alex Ferguson to look elsewhere, according to English source Sunday Express.

Gotze previously labelled a move to United, Barcelona, or Real Madrid a dream, but latercommitted his future to Dortmund, citing the club's ambition as a reason to stay. His current contract is set to expire in 2014.
