Manchester United assistant manager Mike Phelan insists David De Gea will recover from his shaky start to the season.
De Gea has been at fault for two goals conceded by United in the last two games.
"Young or old, goalkeepers make mistakes," said Phelan.
"We have got trust in him. He will be a good Premier League goalkeeper."
United defender Chris Smalling added: "He is making some good saves.
"His agility and kicking are excellent, we have seen that in pre-season. He is going to be a top goalkeeper."
