Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov is being urged to come out of international retirement by Bulgaria.
The People says Berbatov is being asked to crank up the pressure on Fabio Capello by making a shock Bulgaria comeback against England next month.
Capello, still reeling from the postponement of England's friendly against Holland on Wednesday, has been told that Bulgaria boss Lothar Matthaus is confident of bringing the Manchester United striker out of international retirement for the crucial Euro 2012 qualifier in Sofia.
Berbatov quit playing for his country in May 2010 and former Germany great Matthaus made a failed attempt to force a U-turn when he took over as Bulgaria boss last October.
Now he believes Berbatov could change his mind, because of his lack of first-team football at Old Trafford.
