Manchester United bossSir Alex Ferguson is wary of his nearest title challengers.
For all the optimism swirling around his camp, Ferguson remains respectful of the other title contenders and couldn’t resist a side swipe at the League for presenting him with a first day away trip and an opening ten-match programme that includes fixtures against Spurs, ArsenalChelsea,LiverpoolManchester City and Everton.
He said: “I have a feeling of trepidation a wee bit.
“You’re apprehensive about the start and not playing at home as champions.
“Normally the champions play at home.
“They’ve given us a hard run of games so you have to be apprehensive about that.
“You say to yourself, if we get through these games we have a good chance. But they’re tough games and we’ll need to play well.”
