United win Community Shield

Manchester United came from two goals down to beat arch-rivals Manchester City 3-2 in the Community Shield.

Nani's injury-time goal settled a wonderful Community Shield as Manchester United roared back from behind.
Joleon Lescott's header put City in front and Edin Dzeko doubled the lead with a well hit long-range effort beyond new Red Devils goalkeeper David de Gea.

But Sir Alex Ferguson's introduction of three younger members of his squad at the break triggered a comeback for which United are so famed, Chris Smalling setting the ball rolling six minutes after the restart, triggering a richly-deserved victory charge for the Barclays Premier League champions.
Nani then netted with a jaw-dropping leveller for 2-2 in what turned out to be the highest-scoring of these encounters since 1992.
Then the Portugal winger capitalised on Vincent Kompany's mistake in stoppage time to win a match that seemed City's for the taking.
