Newcastle United are ready to return to Manchester Unitedto further strengthen their squad.
Former United winger Gabriel Obertan signed for Newcastle this week and Toon manager Alan Pardew is planning a new raid for one of the Frenchman's ex-teammates.
The Evening Chronicle says Pardew is eyeing United striker Kiko Macheda.
Macheda could become available for loan before the market shuts.
