In his column for the Daily Mail, Neville wrote: "The summer is a time of endless transfer speculation andManchester United have already done some very good business to buy David de Gea, Phil Jones and Ashley Young.
"When you look at the core of the team now, with Rafael and Fabio da Silva, Chris Smalling, Javier Hernandez and Wayne Rooney, you can see an extraordinary new young team being built.
"It's surely one of Sir Alex Ferguson's greatest qualities to be able to make the transition from one great team to the next.
"But there is one transfer story that everyone seems to keep talking about -Wesley Sneijder. I don't know whether it will happen or not, but every United fan will hope it does come about because he's a player of such quality. And his arrival would not just be good for United.
"Attracting players of this calibre to the Premier League can only add to the total spectacle."
