Norwich City loan signing Ritchie de Laet hasn't given up on a career with parent club Manchester United.
The 22-year-old former Royal Antwerp trainee is hopeful a full season in the Premier League with Norwich can only serve him well when he eventually returns to Old Trafford to battle for a place in Sir Alex Ferguson's side.
"The [United] reserve team coach calls me most of the time, but I don't know if United sent someone out to watch against Stoke, or will next week," he said.
"They will keep in touch and hopefully I can do well for Norwich."
De Laet added: "A clean sheet at Chelsea would be nice - I bet Sir Alex calls me then!"
