Everton boss Moyes: Do not compare Barkley with Rooney

Manchester United's Wayne Rooney, left, vies for the ball against Tottenham Hotspurs' Benoit Assou-Ekotto during their English Premier League soccer match at the Old Trafford, Manchester, England, Monday Aug. 22, 2011.

Everton boss David Moyes is keen for Ross Barkley to avoid comparisons withManchester United starWayne Rooney.
Midfield whizkid Barkley, 17, has already been called up for England's Under-21s after last week's eye-catching league debut against QPR.
Moyes said: "Ross is a mature lad, a quiet boy who is similar in that way to a young Wayne.
"But the boy has had injury problems for two years and has a long way to go.
"Ross has amazing natural talent but there will be times this season when we take him out of the firing line."
