Trophy treat for local fans

Manchester United and Manchester United Foundation are kicking off a local trophy tour today (Thursday) to give fans in the local area the chance to share in the Reds’ 19th title success.
The Barclays Premier League silverware will be on display at a variety of community events over the next ten days and will be accompanied by various Manchester United legends and the club’s popular mascot Fred The Red.
Some of the sessions are private, invitation-only for the many local people working with or benefiting from MU Foundation charity projects but others are open for supporters to attend as follows:
Saturday 3 Sep, 3-4pm: High Peak Supporters Club at The White Horse, Buxton Road, Whaley Bridge, SK23 7DQ
Saturday 3 Sep, 5-6pm: High Peak Supporters Club at The Navigation, Stockport Road, Marple, SK6 6BD
The Manchester tour continues until Friday 9 September so watch this space for details of more opportunities to attend and have your photo taken with the trophy.
