Wesley Sneijder says 'there's always a chance' he'll leave Inter Milan

The midfielder could have killed rumors of a move to Manchester United, but he said there's still a chance something can happen during this summer's transfer window.

anchester United still has a chance.

Wesley Sneijder refused to end rumors of a move away from Inter this summer, leaving many still believing that Old Trafford could be his next destination.

“What will happen? We'll see,” Sneijder said on Sunday. “There is always a chance that something will happen, but we will see."

Sneijder has been linked to a move to Manchester United for a fee that's somewhere in the range of 35 million pounds. But United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has denied that the two sides are close to a deal throughout this month's tour of the United States.

“There is always speculation," said Sneijder, who would be an ideal replacement for the recently retired Paul Scholes in the team's midfield. "I've said before, I've played for almost 10 years at the highest level and every year there is speculation.”

However, speaking after his team's 3-0 loss to Manchester City in the Dublin Super Cup, the 27-year-old insisted he was still happy at Inter, saying, "As you can see, I'm still here."

"I'm always happy. I'm a happy guy," Sneijder said. "I'm just happy to train every day with my colleagues and to train every day and to play my game for the fans."
