Manchester United bossSir Alex Ferguson is eager to get Darren Fletcher back fully fit.
Fletcher missed the USA tour as he recovers from a long-standing virus but the news has been encouraging.
Ferguson said: "We’re going to miss Scholes but if we get Fletcher back to his best form it would be a big boost for us.
"He is ideal for the Manchester Unitedteam in terms of his energy and ability to close games down."
