Gabriel Obertan is ready to leave Manchester United.
The Daily Mail says Alan Pardew is considering a move for Manchester United winger Obertan.
The 22-year-old Frenchman, signed for £3million from Bordeaux in 2009, has failed to make an impact at Old Trafford and is keen for a fresh start.
He asked to leave United in January and came close to a move to Belgian side Anderlecht.
However, Pardew rates the winger who was recommended by France coach Laurent Blanc and believes he can help Newcastle in a number of roles. Fulham are also interested.
