Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung is likely to sign a new two-year deal before the start of the season, according to his father.
United manager Sir Alex Fergusonrevealed last month that the 30-year-old Korean midfielder had been offered a new deal.
Now his dad Park Hyun-Jong has told the Korea Times: "I think both sides will be able to sign the new contract early this month, before the Premier League season kicks off.
"We first had discrepancies on the length of the contract terms, but it is now all settled. Actually the two-year deal was initially proposed from our side."
