Former Tottenham boss Terry Venables believes tomorrow's Community Shield will be unlike no other.
El Tel is convinced Manchester Unitedand Manchester City will both go for the throat in the 'friendly' clash.
He wrote in The Sun: "It might only be the Community Shield but expect there to be little love for thy neighbour when the red and blue halves of Manchester renew hostilities at Wembley tomorrow.
"Both United and City will be giving their utmost to triumph in the traditional curtain-raiser, that has been viewed for most of its 103-year history as nothing more than a pre-season kickabout between the winners of the league title and the FA Cup.
"Seldom will this showpiece be more keenly-contested. Seldom will it be viewed by the players and fans as so important."
