Manchester United are being linked with Newcastle Unitedmidfielder Joey Barton.
The Daily Mail says, however, Barton may be reluctant to move to Old Trafford as he won't be guaranteed regular first team football.
Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is also interested in Newcastle's Barton but although he is a free transfer he is also looking for wages of near £70,000.
Manchester United, Arsenal,Tottenham and Manchester City are all interested in Barton but the 28-year-old is keen to play regular football.
