Manchester United defender Chris Smalling has hailed the early season impact of Tom Cleverley and Danny Welbeck.
Cleverley spent last season on loan atWigan Athletic, while Welbeck was atSunderland before both were recalled in the summer.
Smalling said: "Cleverley is a clever player. He speeds up play and that suits the young players coming into the team. I watched Sunderland play last season and saw Danny tearing defences apart and it is great to see him come back and do it for United."
