Man Utd keeper De Gea suffers more embarrassment with Spain U21

Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has suffered humiliation in action for Spain U21.

Playing for Spain's Under 21 side against Georgia Under 21s, De Gea was closing in on a clean sheet with his team leading 6-0.

However, a bizarre back-heeled clearance gone wrong from a hopeful long ball courtesy of defender Inigo Martinez changed all that, as the ball went over De Gea and in for one of the strangest own goals in history.

It was reminiscent of Arsenal youngster Carl Jenkinson's gaffe in pre-season against Cologne, with Martinez looking to the heavens and shaking his head in disbelief at his error.

Spain went on to win the match comfortably 7-2, but it was the last thing De Gea needed after his nervous start to the season.
