Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is upbeat over their move forManchester United trio John O'Shea, Wes Brown and Darron Gibson.
Defenders O'Shea and Brown are close to joining Sunderland, admits Bruce.
"Yes, it looks good, we are very close," the Black Cats manager told ESPN. "Wes is travelling up for talks and we hope to also speak with O'Shea.
"I would say we are inches away."
