Peterborough United have confirmed the signing ofManchester United pair Ryan Tunnicliffe and Scott Wootton for undisclosed loans.
Midfielder Tunnicliffe, 18, and 19-year-old defender Wootton have yet to make their first-team United debuts.
Wootton, who switched to the Red Devils from the Liverpool academy in 2007, played nine times during a loan spell at Tranmere last season.
Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony confirmed the deals on Twitter, saying: "Gaffer just told me two United lads signed on loan, Tunnicliffe & Wooton signed up."
Ferguson took a number of United players on loan during his time as Preston boss.
