Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick says he would take Real Madrid starCristiano Ronaldo overBarcelona's Lionel Messi.
Carrick was asked his opinion on the duo in a webchat on manutd.com.
He said: "I think they're so different. It's hard to pick. The Barcelona team is set up perfect for Messi, the way they play. Cristiano's done it in England and now he's done it in Spain.
"Messi hasn't changed clubs or countries in terms of where he's played, but what he's done is sensational. All in all, as a complete package, maybe Cristiano brings more - left foot, right foot, headers... But you can't argue with what Messi's done. I think I have to sit on the fence for that one."
