Man Utd bos Ferguson: Chicharito, Rooney no guaranteed pairing

Manchester United bossSir Alex Ferguson has warnedWayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez their partnership is not guaranteed.
Ferguson insists that he does not view the pair as his definitive attacking combination, despite their success in the second half of last season.
“I don’t see that as a partnership,” Ferguson said. “Wayne could probably do it with anybody. And Chicharito [Hernández] scored goals for us, whether it was the one against West Brom or the last-minute goal against Stoke, or the first goal against Stoke, but it had absolutely nothing to do with the partnership.
“He [Hernandez] is not going to change from what he is. He is as good a player I have ever dealt with in the penalty box, in terms of movement, space and decision making. He is brilliant with those qualities.
“He might even improve on that next year, but where he does need to improve is the technical bit. He is doing that all the time, though.”
