Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has slammed Blackburn Rovers' owners for their sacking of Sam Allardyce last season.
Ferguson has defended Big Sam's successor Steve Kean in the face of ferocious criticism from Rovers fans.
But he admits he was shocked by the Indian poultry firm's decision to sack Allardyce Fergie, whose team face rock-bottom Rovers today, said: "Anyone sacking Sam Allardyce, you would think they're off their heads.
"He was such an influential, big personality at the club. He was perfect for Blackburn and an outstanding manager."
