Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson believes Blackburn Rovers' owners were wrong to squeeze out chairman John Williams.
Williams is now working for United's great rivals Manchester City.
Ferguson said: "Williams was very experienced in that job.
"He looked after the Jack Walker Trust and was a Blackburn man. That experience is a loss."
