Sunderland are seeking talks with Manchester Uniteddefender Wes Brown.
The Daily Mail says Sunderlandhave completed a £5million deal for Birmingham's Craig Gardner and hope to talk to Manchester United defender Brown today.
Brown is available from United and is also interesting Everton.
