Celtic left-back Emilio Izaguirre is not getting carried away with recent links to English clubs and will remain in Glasgow.
The 25-year old Honduran, who was named the Scottish Premier League’s Player of the Year last season, has been linked with the likes ofManchester United and Liverpool in the past few months but his adviser, Marco Tulio Suazo, insists the player is keen to stay at Celtic Park.
"I can tell all the fans of the club that Emilio has the sole mission of not lowering the level that made him the best foreigner in the Scottish PremierLeague,” he told the Daily Record.
"Emilio has the plan of fulfilling the contract that still binds him to Celticas an alleged sale to England, at this moment in time, is not a reality."
