Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson rates Chelsea as among the title challengers.
Andre Villas-Boas' side are currently third in the table but have recovered well since being beaten 3-1 at Old Trafford and appear to be in the Barclays Premier League chase for the long haul.
"The important thing for us is we know it's going to be a challenge every year," said the boss. "This year, it may be City or Chelsea. It's a wee bit premature writing Chelsea off as they have the most experience in terms of the players and their squad. It's full of experience so you can't discount them.
"We want to finish above both of them. That's the name of the game for us."
