Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has shrugged off what his success means for Mexican football.
Chicharito is suddenly Mexico’s biggest sports star after an amazing first season in Europe.
It’s taking time for Hernandez to come to terms with the fact that he is the new shining light of Mexican football, but he promises he will do his best to fulfil the expectations of fans in his homeland.
"I'm not flying the flag for Mexican football," he insisted. I just come to work and try my hardest to be professional and to give everything for this shirt, because I am representing my country."
