Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke is delighted with the form of Jonny Evans this season.
He has been impressed by Evans' current run in the side.
Yorke told manutd.com: “I first came across Jonny when I was at Sunderland and he was on loan. He did a fantastic job and really played a crucial part for us when Roy Keane was manager. He tackles and reads the game well, but just needed that little bit of experience.
“He has shown his quality in the past three or four months. He's been outstanding and people forget that he is still a young lad who is learning the game. Of course, he’s going to make the odd mistake but I’m sure he’ll be a great United player for a long time.”
