Man Utd boss Ferguson not focused on Man City results

Fri, 04/06/2012

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has indicated that he will not bother looking at title rivals Manchester City’s results.

United sit five points clear of crosstown rivals Manchester City with seven games remaining with this weekend’s home clash against QPR the next fixture as City prepare to head to Arsenal.

City boss Roberto Mancini suggested that the title would be staying at Old Trafford if his side slips up on the weekend but Ferguson is not bothered by the Italian’s comments, saying he will only focus on his club’s job at hand.

"I'm not getting into that. I don't need to get into that," Fergie said.

"We must concentrate on the game ahead and that's Queens Park Rangers. We'll focus on that, not worry about elsewhere."
