Pachuca coach Efrain Flores has revealedManchester United are tracking the best of Mexico's young players.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been convinced about the strength of Mexican football after the success of former Chivas striker Javier Hernandez.
"In Chicharito's case, they observed him not for a month but months and they now have a full understanding of the Under-17s and Under-20s," Flores told Universal. "They agree with me that the U-17 generation is very good.
"Manchester United and Ferguson know a lot about Mexican soccer. They are dedicated to scouting to know what they want, not only in Mexico but in Latin America."
