Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand admits their FA Youth Cup team is a young one.
United win 5-1 at Swansea City in the latest Cup tie.
"They're a young team," Ferdinand told MUTV. "I've seen them train and watched a few games and we've got a lot of young but very talented players this year.
"Who knows? We may have to wait but they may surprise and might come out and just batter every team they play against, which I hope they do.
"But you'll probably see the best of this team next season in terms of physical prowess and development. Sometimes the youth team manager and club have to be patient as people grow quicker or slower than others. There are a few big lads in there like Tyler as well, who can look after himself.
"I think they'll do well this year and surprise a few people and probably a few people at the club too. I think they will push on and do very well."
