Manchester United defenderRio Ferdinand has welcomed the signing of Ashley Young.
Young completed his move to Old Trafford yesterday.
After teasing his England teammate about his head gear, Ferdinand tweeted: "Another top, hungry and young player joins the ranks."
Young follows the arrival of Phil Jones earlier this month fromBlackburn Rovers.
