With speculation rife, in the press this morning, suggesting relations between Sir Alex Ferguson and Wayne Rooney are not all they should be, Rooney, after the game at the Etihad Stadium, was quick to dispel these inferences.
Speaking to the ITV commentator afterwards, Wayne had this to say,
'Everything which had been in the press is a load of nonsense. There are no problems with me at this club, I want to be at this club for a long time."
Is that an end to these stories?
I doubt it!
